Celebrate Archangel Michael Today!
Sunday, March 13, 2022

Saint Michael is well known as a patron saint that looks after the police as they protect and serve us all.  Many Policemen, their friends and family call upon Michael and wear his medal asking for his intercession and for protection from harm.

Michael, along with Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel, is exalted above all the other Angels and Cherubs. His medal typically displays Saint Michael brandishing a sword and shield, as well as defeating Lucifer, the Devil, who is most often presented as a defeated dragon underneath his feet.

Christians, Muslims, and Jews celebrate Archangel Michael. He holds special reverence through many cultures. He is regarded as the Guardian Angel of Israel and the Protector of Churches. Michael exemplifies there are more similarities between Christians and Jews then there are differences.
